Why do you like Gamespot forums better than IGN forums?

I'm asking this on the assumption that you prefer Gamespot forums to IGN forums.

Escapist is much better than both.

Could we get back on topic please? Also, if you've never used the IGN forums, why are you even participating in this discussion? Can't really participate if you can't make a valid opinion that you prefer Gamespot forums over IGN forums, and to do that you have to at least have participated on the IGN forums. (It's so retarded when people post irrelevant off topic crap to boost their post count).

Laziness really, already used to it here and know a few of the members.

Nothing wrong with ign forums they seem to have a little more traffic than here too

I didn't use the IGN boards long enough to tell, I just liked the users here and decided to stick around.

I'm registered over there, (same username) but I don't use that site that much and only log on when I'm looking for that pacific review game and to tell the truth, I never venture to there forums, I like GS forums way more, It's easy to navigate.

I like that we don't have adverts in the middle of our posts. I do like the "like" fxn on ign. No need to copy someone's post when you agree with them.

Please show me ONE SINGLE benefit of high post counts. As if anyone gives a flying shit.

And, if you're really taking it so seriously, why won't you try going there and asking IGN users why they don't use GS forums, and compare the replies?

Who says we do? Some might like both, but just prefer hanging around here more.

As for me, I still haven't even so much as lurked on IGN yet, so no telling if IGN may seem better to me, but seeing what other people have to say about it, seems like GS is still the better place/community.

I used to like Gamespot's forum layout better because the old IGN forums were convoluted. I see IGN redesigned theirs. Now? It's a wash as to which one is better.

Crap. My IGN post count has reverted back to zero. Oh well.
