So far, the only physical evidence that Ayn Rand received Medicare is in the interview Scott McConnell conducted with Evva Pryor. The Medicare headquarters in Baltimore also had at least some computerized information, but they wouldnt share it with me. I had hoped that a bigger news organization would have had the clout to help me dig deeper.

There is no proof she accepted social security. There is just one guy saying she did and then everyone desperate to criticize accepts it as irrefutable fact.

I think both conservatives and liberals tend to be emotional and irrational when it comes to certain issues or events. Take for example, 9/11 and the irrational decisions that were taken in order to ensure our security such as the invasion of Iraq, the handling of both wars, lack of leadership, lack of funds due to the tax cuts, and the list goes on. In fact, it wasn't because we now know that it was a failure, it was just a series of bad decisions due to inexperience and ignoring years of how to handle occupations (such as Germany and Japan after World War II).

And of course there's Feinstein attempting to renew the Assault Weapons Ban which won't do anything since the last Assault Weapons Ban didn't work. In fact, Assault weapons (automatic guns) are already banned, and the crime rate involving semiautomatic rifles are much lower than blunt weapons. Gun crime is high due to handguns, not rifles. It's emotional but also ignorance.

In fact, forget emotion and irrationality, everyone is just ignorant.
