Ever since I stumbled into a thread on the economy and American cars, I've been wondering who everyone's favorite car manufacturer is. Any one will do, even if they aren't still around. Personally, I like the Volkswagen Group. Why? Because they own the company that make this.

Audi R8(favorite car of all time)

and this

Bentley

and this

Bugatti

and the Volkswagen's own cars are pretty nice too. I like the GLI, CC and Jetta myself.

A tossup between Toyota and Subaru. My family and relatives mainly have Toyotas but I have a soft spot for Subaru's AWD line-up.

I like ford, because even though I don't own a ford right now, I've never had a problem with one, and they didn't seek government help during the last recession.

I don't have one. I really don't get caught up in the concept of favoritism.

I gained a lot of respect for them because of that. And they own Mazda, who I like very much.

I love Jaguar, because they made the car that I think is the most beautiful of all time, the E-Type:

Then again, Ferrari are pretty sensational, can't really argue with their manufacturing record.

For cars that are attainable by normal people, I think my favourite marque has to be Nissan, for the current GT-R:

Too bad GM is discontinuing Saturn. They were IMO their best and most reliable branch.

Luxury car-wise, can't go past a Porsche, though have been addicted to the idea of a Jaguar XJ220 ever since I rode in one as a 5 year old. As for an attainable car, probably Subaru. Saving up to one day own an Impreza WRX.

I always wanted a old-shool Chevy El Camino or a Ford Ranchero. Coupe utility vehicle are my favorite type of rides.

Can someone in GM make a modern Chevy El Camino out of the cancelled Pontiac G8 Sports Truck?

I'll probably never buy a Porsche, but Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed made me appreciate their cars very much back in the days.
