I am applying to University this year and i need put in three references that cannot be friends or family. So i know i am going to ask a teacher or two but who should i put as a third? Would someone like a doctor be best? Who would you ask to fill in the final slot.
Maybe a supervisor at a place you worked or volunteered from, even if it's in your school. A reference from a doctor would be... weird. You can also get a family friend to help you out and make up stuff for you...
Usually teachers that have a high opinion of you. If you've joined clubs or done volunteer work, whoever supervises you in those organizations. Bosses, but that might depend on the jobs you've had and what school you're trying to get into. A boss that has no idea how well you fare academically is going to make a lousy reference.
Everyone I know used teachers and club heads though. You're just looking for people tha can prove you know how to be successful in school.
