Poll Who is your favorite Game of Thrones character? (29 votes)

Arya Stark 3%
Bran Stark 0%
Bronn 10%
Cursei Lannister 0%
Daenerys Targaryen 3%
Davos Seawoth 3%
Jaime Lannister 3%
Brienne of Tarth 3%
Jon Snow 7%
Theon Greyjoy 0%
Tormund Giantsbane 0%
Tyrion Lannister 38%
Yara Greyjoy 0%
Other (specify) 28%

With GoT coming up, Thought I'd pose this question. Bronn is probably my favorite character, but Tyrion, Snow, and Davos are close. Bron has that great sense of humor. I even like Jaime Lannister these days.

How about you?

Most are pretty one dimensional and boring. Little finger and the dwarf are exceptions. I'm going with the dwarf. Think cercei is pretty cool too.

I believe Tyrion really stands out so my vote goes to him. Other favorites of mine include Davos, Theon Greyjoy, Jorah Mormont, Bronn and the Hound.

The characters are fairly shallow. Tyrion Lannister, Davos Seaworth, Sandor Clegane, and Eddard Stark are the exceptions.

I would choose Tyrion Lannister.

Toss up between Jaime and Bronn for me. Bronn won out for being a cynical bastard.

Are we doing this based on how well the part is acted out or how much we actually like the character?

Ramsay Bolton. For me he is one of the best villains of all time and every time he was on screen he brought the crazy. My favorite characters are never the heroes apparently. Not sure what that says about me.

Meh, they're mostly all underdeveloped distortions of their book counterparts.

That said, I give the show full credit for Karl Tanner, he was a fooking legend.

Bronn. He's the most honest character in the show.

I'm honestly not sure. I guess the easy answer would have to be Jon, since he is the brooding, well-intentioned hero of the story, and takes part in many of the series' big battles. I think Tyrion is relatable in a way because he is likable and is the underdog, and I have no idea if I would be any good at a medieval battle so maybe I'm more like him. But then lots of other characters are fantastic as well.. Jorah, Sandor, Arya, Qyburn, Brienne, Melisandre, Davos, Dany, the list goeth on and on.

I'll vote Rhaegar, since so much of the story is tied to him.

oooof, tough choice....

Arya, because I really, really have this thing for strong women, and there are a lot of them in Game of Thrones, but Arya seems to be the one that is doing it the hard way, by herself (mostly), without really anyone looking out for her. She had some lucky breaks, some capable people looking out for her, but ultimately she went from a pampered tomboy to a kickass little assassin in quite some time. I also enjoyed the little trek she and The Hound took for those few episodes.

Tyrion, for obvious reasons; constantly underestimated yet surprisingly capable, arguably the most dangerous character in the show. Not sure if it's luck, capability, coincidence, or a combination of the three that keep him going, but he keeps finding himself getting the short end of the stick, then somehow beating the crap out of everyone with that short stick.

I like Jaime, because for some reason I view him as the underdog of sorts. Why him and not Tyrion? Well, Jaime never had a chance; he was bred, raised, and cultivated to be this impossible thing and then his world just goes to absolute shit. You just keep cheering him on because you can see in his heart he has honor, and he wants to do good, but he is just so easily led back to the corrupt ways of his family.

@mrbojangles25:

The one thing I want to see from Jaime is in some way he apologizes to Bran, that's still a sticking point with me. I think Jaime is going to kill Cersei. As Jaime takes a path to being a better person, Cersei is going in an opposite direction, getting worse if that's possible.

That part in the book left my jaw on the floor. Pedro Pascal is pretty awesome, because he took one of the more interesting characters from the book and actually made him -more- interesting in the show version. It made knowing what was eventually going to happen to him that much worse...

Arya is pretty badass but I have to go with Tyrion all the way.

tyrion is the most consistent throughout the show in terms of entertainment but cersei is a force of a nature.

Yeah, that should be the big battle this season, Daenerys and co. vs. the Lannisters and their allies.

I've been most partial to the Hound Clegane. I've stopped watching the show after it became about shock factor instead of interesting story telling though.
