I know that there are ppl out there that suffer from, and I am glad I am not the only one who suffers from it, what sort of fears do you have? I guess I am a bit like Tweak from South Parkmomo372
I take a popular SSRI for OCD, and not that it does me much good, but my 2 fears are cancer and car crashes.
OCD meaning obsessive compulsive disorder, now you guys are talking about fears, well, i don't have those so much as just little random habits that i'm compelled to do....like i used to wash my hands until they were all dry and chapped and painful, which i guess was fear of germs, and i used to have to touch things an even number of times, which was.....fear of odd numbers??....but i've almost completely grown out of it now.solidsnake2891
...isn't that funny...I survived most of my teen years without any issues at all, but then they came back in my mid twenties...the human brain is a mysterious entity...
I don't think I have OCD, in that I have to touch certain things in a certain order, or anything like that. I'll have moments where a random thought will come into my head, and it will just sit and keep going over and over and over, doing my head in. And I also have to do some things in a certain order, otherwise I'll just mess it all up. But I don't have touch things a certain number of times or stuff like that. People I used to work with said I had mild OCD just because of my whole process thing, and I'm not sure where my head/brain/thinking thing falls, so, yeah, I don't think so.
I don't have OCD, but I self diagnosed myself with severe ADD and severe social anxiety disorder with psychotic features.Caffeine_Tripstrange me too
IÂ used to have a touch of it when I was a young kid... like if I touched something with my left hand I'd "have" to touch it with my right hand. That's a foggy memory though, I've never thought about it much.
It just went away eventually, and I don't do meds or anything..... it just faded. Haven't had any problems with it for about two decades.
I wash my hands a lot....... and anything that has been in public, must not touch certain things in my house or else they'll be contaminated...... it's hard to explain. But I wash my hands constantly, but I don't think its OCD. I think it's just ...... hygiene. Account_27

That's how it is for me too. Like when I'm walking on a sidewalk, I don't step on cracks. If I do step on a crack, I have to step on another with my other foot. I also have a tendancy to brush my fingers along the wall when I'm walking, all the time. I also have reoccuring thoughts that will stick with me for some time, not like bad thoughts, just random "if-I-were-there-I-would-do-this" kinda thoughts. Little things also bug me, like say something is upside down on a coffee table, like a remote, it'll bug me and I'll get up to turn it over. Stuff like that...wow...to think of it, I really am OCD...
