Where Does The Government Test Nuclear Weapons?

we dont test nuclear weapons anymore, as we already know they work we have done over 1000 tests though and they were all done in Nevada most of them atleast

wow, alot of people here are wrong. We don't test the nuclear weapon but we do a procedure taking a tiny amount of uranium out of the warhead and test its stability with some procedure (forget name). I don't feel like typing the whole way it works out, but we don't test the actual nukes anymore...

Not sure about Nuclear weapons, but pretty much every weapon we have in the military is tested in Yuma, Arizona.

They stopped doing that in the 1950s. You used to be able to witness these tests outside of Las Vegas (at a safe distance of course). They've been performed in New Mexico as well, I'm sure, and probably a lot of the rest of the South West. I am not positive where they've tested our hydrogen bomb(s), though I'm pretty sure that the Soviets did that in Siberia. Nowadays, I'm pretty sure that if they were to ever do them at all, it would be done underground, so as to minimize fallout, such as what the North Koreans did.

so does anyone know how big the Tsar bomb's shockwave was? I know it could be felt around the world a couple of times but, did it destroy anything?
