where are you now in your career? I'm just working to save to go back to college but saving is not happening with all the bills each month. = /

Sort of just go with the flow at the moment. I have narrowed my career paths to three: I guess the best combination of interest and potential will determine the path. I'll give myself a year to consider the three options. Meanwhile, I'm just happy to have a job with decent pay and good learning experience.
Unemployed. I got laid off for wanting a wage appropriate for my level and quality of work, so instead of negotiating, my employer just let me go. Now, considering they've gone through essentially one person per week since I left (some barely even lasting the entire week), I feel much more validated in my desire for more money.
Now I've got applications in at places paying almost double for either the same amount (and type) of work, or less. With even greater levels of benefits and employee protections (yes, some have unions, but if that means I have a more protected position within the company and can't be fired for wanting more money, then I'm fine with it).
I have a good job that pays well and I have been going with the flow. Money in savings, checking, 401k, company stock.
Outside the front door still trying to walk in. I got my certification to be a computer/network technician but since companies always want some sort of professional experience, it makes it near damn impossible to get hired by anyone. So I've been forced to take on different trades, carpentry to be specific. However, I'm currently not working but applying actively to all types of jobs, where once again, I'm unable to find a decent amount of jobs for dealing with computers outside of Geek Squad (Which I've applied to A LOT at many different locations, but still receive no phone call). I would go back to school to get a bachelors or associations in Computer Engineering, but that would put me $80,000+ in the hole with student loan debt. So right now, I'm deciding rather to jump to a different career (Thinking about law, expanding my carpentry career, or getting into the auto industry) or go ahead and take my chances getting a degree of computer engineering while hoping to land a high paying job to pay off those loans...
A broke & a lonely medical student.
Totally sucks seeing my friends all earn enough money to buy cars, hang out, and plan to getting married while I'm just stuck with a very rough future of sitting for very hard exams and incoming stressful hospital environment.
Just starting out. I work in a branch of government that deals with healthcare and healthcare education. It's going quite well, a little surreal.
I am doing well in my career at present. I was offered another promotion recently and am in the process of determining exactly what I want to do as it would require another relocation, which would mark three times in as many years that I have moved for a new opportunity. Luckily, my wife isn't too bothered by the entire thing. My yearly salary has quadrupled in the last five years, so that helps lessen any issues she might have with leaving a familiar place behind.
I still voted that I want too many things, though, because I'm always looking to the next promotion or big career move above all else.
I graduated over a year ago and got my college degree. I recently got a new job about 9 months ago. I work currently in the trucking industry. I'm responsible for selling and distributing truck parts to customers. The pay is decent enough, starting pay at $13.50 an hour. I work at least 40 hours each week, I usually put in overtime. It's enjoyable work and I'm content where I'm currently at.

It's all about the delayed gratification my friend.
I only work 3 days a week and am now winding down getting ready for retirement (probably about 2 years). I STILL don't know what I want to be when i GROW UP (but I no longer care either)! ;+D
In the toilet. Haven't worked full-time in a really long time. I recently managed to make some money and I'm holding to it like grim death.
Money doesn't grow on Trees, get your but out and find a job.

I remember you. Months ago you were stressing that you were not sure where to go after high school. Personally, I am glad that you are making progress.
My current status is switching to a new major, so technically I am considered a freshman again according to my new school.

Yeah, that period in my life was the most time I've been lost. Thankfully, I entered medicine and I turned out to love it despite how hard it is, mainly because helping people makes me feel really good!! It wasn't months ago though, it was 2 years back.
