When was the first time you got fired?

if ever, and have you learned something from it?

I was depressed for like a day or two, but got over it quick. Plus I was in school, so I had more free time.

You learn it's not the end of the world, and besides, UPS is always hiring. There's no excuse for anyone to be unemployed.

If I get fired from my morning job, I might actually be relieved, not being hassled by just about everyone I work with right now.

Iwas fired because some **** employee that I was working withcracked a jew joke and I snickered because it was funny. Refering to how frugal jewish are known to be. Problem was the store was a thrift shopowned and run by jews so the storemanager fired me along with the other guy. Plus I was a supervisor and told them I didn't want to supervise anymore so I think that pissed them off as well.

I didn't care,I figured my time was coming because they were firing a bunch of people. I just took my shirt off and threw it on the manager's head. What was he gonna do? Fire me? I found out not too long afterwards thatthe executives fired him. That's how it works in retail. They fire and hire to keep wages down.

I have never been fired...although I have only had like 3 jobs...2 at home, 1 down at college.ice_radon
