When did your life go downhill?

Althought there is still good/fun moments happening in my life, late 2013 is when it started going downhill, every summer now I have to some kind of summer place, every Christmas I get a few gifts.

Oh wait I already explained in another thread about this. Now I wanna know when did your's go downhill.

It didn't. I'm very happy with my life, everything is going according to plan and I have everything I could have asked for and then some.

My life went downhill when I started watching GS News a couple years ago.

My life went downhill when I learned that there was no Santa Claus.

When I was in 3rd grade.

When I got my job. Everything feels so formulaic.

I have felt like it was going downhill in the past. But then I got away from the one person who was holding me back/dragging me down.

when i realized how transient everything is. from that day on, everything seems utterly tragic to me. especially when things look fine.

It never did. Although, 2014 was the lowest period of my life.

When I lost my job... Job hunting aint fun.

My life went downhill when I started realizing that I am losing someone. The person who made me realize that life is wonderful, my best buddy. :(

My life is often a straight line and shit always goes down for me, everything I've invested in my life turns into turd. I will do something about it eventually.

@dylandr: I'm sorry I guess should have been more clear on that one. I lost my virginity at age 13, I was young and stupid for sleeping with a lot of girls when I was still in middle school and I was getting bad grades, and not doing my homework. That's in the past and now, no more of that stuff. Of course there's more to it but that's another story.

helped me pull thru my own prolonged depression. Life was still tragic - absolutely. Nothing changed in that sense, but a new aspect was added, which really helped alleviate the tragedy of it all, and that's without popping pills or self-medicating with marijuana

From around age 13 to 18 things were pretty shitty...parents got divorced...Mom went kinda crazy...went and lived with Dad...bad situation there...had issues with school and was pretty out of control. After that I joined the military, started a family, took control of my life, and things have been uphill ever since.

@dylandr: Yeah I'm good now. My 2 sisters look out for me, we stick together as a family.

why the assumption that our lives have gone downhill?

When I was about 23 my bipolar disorder kicked in.. I lost my job, my fiance, my car, and my apartment. Been pretty bad ever since.

I don't mean to be a downer, but I've been on and off depressed my entire adulthood. I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 28 or so, but I'm not entirely convinced of that.

On a brighter note, I'm very likeable and people generally enjoy my company, even if I can be quite irrational.

The literal opposite of "going downhill" isn't the figurative opposite. Life uphill isn't where you want to be because of the saying uphill struggle.

I was wondering who was going to catch that :P

2010. So many things happened that were not in my favor. Things still are not quite in my favor but well it took me 5 years to finally accept what's been dictated by fate or one's stupidity. Doesn't matter which one. What matters is that it doesn't matter.
