How did you spend $15k on speakers for DJing? Are you running a night club? Well i'm a Co-partner of a bar here in LA[QUOTE="lagreendown"]Well besides a car the most I spent was 15,000 dollars on speakers for DjingNVIDIATI
Gaming consoles and handhelds.
I guess my PC which was $800 at the time, maybe $300 today. Also clothes that I invest in $100 of dollars. They last a very long time too!

Most expensive thing I bought was my car for 5k. Most expensive thing Ive gotten was a 20,000 dollar scholarship for school, I practically sh*t my pants when I opened the letter and read that I was recieving 20k

There are weeks where I work 90 hours a week. I earn every bit of what I make. It does not necessarily make me rich, just able to afford the niceties I desire.

Now that's more like it :) A lot of DJs tend to use a bunch of crappy monitors which upsets the audiophile inside.
No one pays in full, I sold my car in full(35k), but just randomly going to a car lot and say "I want that one", I've never heard of anyone doing that.Have you guys literally purchased a car with the whole amount and not on a monthly premium? I highly doubt most people pay in full..
I've spent a few thousand in cash on motorcycles.

Unless we're talking used, I paid my first car in cash, only 3500.

Nowadays, if someone spends more than $10,000 in cash in one transaction (this includes deposits into the bank), the feds have to be notified. One needs to be able to prove that they got said money legally. Blame it on the illicit drug trade.
People are posting as if they bought it in full. :PNo one pays in full, I sold my car in full(35k), but just randomly going to a car lot and say "I want that one", I've never heard of anyone doing that.

I saw it at the BMW dealership some old guy rolled in and took a look at the new 2012 5 series that was a floor model and just went I want that one. All he did was sit in it and revved the engine. It was pretty insane. The sales guy I was with was like come on who does that haha.I bought two cars with "cash" but have partially financed my last two carsHave you guys literally purchased a car with the whole amount and not on a monthly premium?
