Movie trailers. I was terrified that a Chucky preview would come on. I didn't realize that they typically don't show trailers for R-rated slashers at a G or PG movie.
going on or into trains/escalators/elevators/cars.
Things I'm scared of now...
Cockroaches, Silverfish, Centipedes, Bumblebees, Honey-Bees, any insect that flys by my ears and it's wings flap loud enough to freak me out. And Dogs(big ones)/Cats when they make that face when you piss them off.
Fog. I would think the sky was falling and the fog was the clouds. And when I saw signs that said "Freeway ends in x miles" I thought the freeway just stopped and there was a giant cliff so I'd be worried about my mom driving off the cliff.
The music from the show "X-Files" has always freaked me out a bit.

I would leave my mom's room and go play games or something to get my mind off that music, it still haunts me to this day... if I ever hear that music playing when I'm walking outside alone, i'll just start running
Volcanoes. When I was really little, my parents took me to see the movie Dante's Peak, which was about this big volcanic eruption that levels this town and follows this family as they fight for their lives. At my tender young age, it scared the everloving **** out of me. Living in Colorado, in plain view of the mountains made it even worse for me. In the movie, the mountain that ended up erupting was not even known to be an active volcano. They just thought it was a normal mountain. So whenever my parents were driving me somewhere, my eyes would constantly be on the Rockies, just waiting for one of them to blow and bury us in ash.
Blue Streelights (streelights whose light is blue, there was one that I could see from my kitchen window. Most other streetlights had yellow lights). That and I think I was afraid of bwack people (I thought they were covered in mud and didn't bathe).
big rigs, i watched maximum overdrive when i was like 5, i still love that movie to this day but yea everytime i rode my bike past this place that had a ton of trucks id always speed up :lol:
When I was alone I swear I use to see things out the corners of my eyes, like people walking past me, or just stood staring at me, things just watching me... its really creepy thinking about it, and this is the first time I've ever mentioned it to anyone :(
