80's music mostly, I can't get enough of the decade, lol. I pretty much have no specific genre though, although I'd probably choose Rock as my favorite. I dislike all that Heavy Metal and emo stuff though, and I don't really care for rap (however, it's not all bad).

Most of the time I listen to hip-hop.... Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z, Nas, Rakim, and Kool G Rap are some of my faves. But I also listen to a lot of funk, soul, jazz, and rock in addition to hip-hop.

I like to listen to music that is relaxing to me -- rather than mostly liking a single genre, I mostly like music that fits my idea of "relax." That doesn't mean I don't listen to music that is louder and faster, but most of the time, I'm drawn to relaxing stuff.

I've been meaning to pick some of their stuff up but haven't really had an opportunity to. From the stuff I've heard they're really good. I don't know much about their stuff so I don't really know where to start.

I shall look into them, thanks. The only psytrance/goa I really listen to is AP, Prana, Juno Reactor and X-Dream. Though the only dark sounding psy/goa I've heard is Velvet Acid Christ's Twisted Thought Generator album.

I've been listening to a lot of jungle, acid, whatever kinds of electronic music. I also like a lot of rock that has improvization in it, like Phish and the Mars Volta or Jefferson Airplane. I listen to some jazz, I've really gotten in to Buddy Rich and his stuff in the past couple of months, with some Donald Byrd also. I like Talking Heads and Sufjan Stevens, quite a lot, both of them, and then random rock groups, Radiohead, Broken Social Scene, the Cure, whatever. It's all rock. I also listen to a little bit of classical, mostly just Brahms but Mozart and Beethoven and Chopin are all fun too, but Brahms is my go to guy for that.
