Hi,just wondering what OT's been watching on television lately.
I just started watching The Pacific.I really enjoy it.
And I'm still watching The Big Bang Theory...That's pretty much it.
What about you?

Currently 'Escape to the Country' is on my TV. I wouldn't recommend it.
Have been watching 'The World at War' recently. And 'Ashes to Ashes' is back on the BBC on Friday, looking forward to that.
My sweetie and I actually watch a lot of TV, usually over meals and with snarky running commentary on whatever is on. Lessee, the queue generally includes 24, Chuck, Damages, Lost, Fringe, Supernatural, Mad Men, and other stuff now and then. Justified may get added to the mix if it's buzz level stays high.xaosHow is Damages doing so far this season? I've totally missed everything so far. I don't really do tv anymore. I'll usually tune in for the Fox Sunday night line up and a few FX shows, but that's usually it
[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]Only if you start from the beginning...But yes, it's one of the best shows on TV. I'm definitely starting from the beginning. My buddy has the first season. So,yeah,I'll start watching as soon as possible. Thanks. Also, should I start watching Mad Men?It seems pretty cool.Recommended?

Not quite up to the standards of season 1, but very watchable. Of course, given the structure of the show, you can't really jump in arbitrarily without watching from the beginning :)

I also have been watching/re-watching older episodes of: Alias, Monk, Smallville, The Office, X-Files, Veronica Mars, and Psych.
The only 2 shows I follow are Dexter and South Park. Occasionally I watch ESPN and reruns of older shows.

Lost atm. I've never watched an episode up until I borrowed seasons 1 through 5 from a friend over the weekdend. I'm on season 2 now and havent stopped watching it actually (Will buy season 6). I missed the last episode of The Pacific, but that is another one I'll be watching (loved BoB). South Park would be another. Other then that there isn't really any shows I pay attention to.

Yea, I love it so far. It's my first time watching it. Keeps me on the edge of my seat and there is cliff-hangers at the end of almost every episode.
I'm only half way through season 1 so far. Does it go down hill after season 2 or is it still good?

I'd say it definitely goes downhill, though the last few eps of season 4 jump the shark in beautifully spectacular fashion :) Season 5 was a trainwreck, with new characters brought to account for the fact that Jennifer Garner was full of AffleckspawnOh, man...If we're gonna include TV shows on DVD my list would be enormous. I picked up the Twilight Zone complete series set a few months ago and I'm not even all the way through season 1 yet. I have an entire 5 shelf rack dedicated just to TV shows on DVD and Blu-Ray, and I still have stuff piled up next to it :([QUOTE="Ultrabeatdown55"]

I should take pictures one day, it's a melange of color and wonder. We're addicted to buying HBO series box sets, too. The only one we don't have is The Wire (I don't count Deadwood since they didn't do anything special)[QUOTE="Ultrabeatdown55"]

As far as new episodes go:
The Office
30 Rock
Justified
The Pacific
South Park
Modern Family
Still waiting on Treme, can not wait.
I mainly watch movies but a few shows that I do try to catch are:
I think Parks/Community/Office are now a bore. Its like they struggle to be funny as of late. Same for 30 Rock. I can see why many are slowly getting tired of NBC (from what i read). Its just meh, at least to me that is.The NBC Thursday night sitcoms (how does a network as awful as NBC produce a solid 2 hours of comedy brilliance (well, 1.5 hours of comedy brilliance and The "we-really-didn't-think-we'd-last-this-long-and-are-completely-out-of-ideas" Office)?), The Pacific, and 24.
