Most certainly not the best looking shoe I've ever seen

I am sorry. You somehow got the impression I created this thread because I give a shit what people think of my shoes. Here, let me help you out a bit...I don't. I made the thread because I was curious what others wear. I couldn't give a shit less what they think of what I wear.

"I couldn't give a shit less what they think of what I wear."

Yes you could. You wouldn't be showing us what you wear if you didn't.

I made the thread because I got new shoes, which in turn made me wonder what others wear. I just showed a pic of what I wear so somebody wouldn't ask what I wear. I couldn't care less what others actually think of what I wear, so sorry kid, but you like normal, are wrong.

You continue to post on the matter. It's clear that you care what others think about your shoes.

You sound like a very angry individual lol. I am allowed to have an opinion, I am allowed to voice my opinion. And my opinion is that you should have a drink, calm down and burn those things you call shoes. Just saying

Read my above statement. And if you need a drink to calm down, you are doing it wrong. Just saying.

So quite clearly you need a lot more than a drink to calm down? Grow up dude, if you cant take criticism you shouldn't have posted a picture of your god awful shoes on a forum.

And what's up with the 'kid' remark all the time? You do realize that it's normally children who call others children to make themselves feel more grown up?

I am calm and like I said, if you need a drink to calm down, you are doing it wrong. We are long past the criticism stage. We are well into you crying like a baby because I informed you I don't care what you think of my shoes. Now you just feel the need to continue crying. Stop crying over me not caring what you think and I will stop calling you a kid...okay kid? I am not continuing to come to your thread crying needing my diaper changed, so why come to mine doing it?

I will continue coming here even if it is just to piss you off.

Yes we are past the criticism stage, and you can call me a kid to your heart content. But that will not change the fact that you threw a little tantrum because somebody called your beloved shoes a tad ugly. Your response is down right childish 'oh you're such a kid, stop crying, change your diaper'. Really now? Is that how you deal with people in your life?

Grow up!

99% sure AmazonTreeBoa is just a troll so don't bother with him. Anytime he is questioned about something in a thread he will deflect and throw a fit.

Dude, let me tell you...as someone who works in the sporting goods industry, the shoes just keep getting uglier and uglier. It's unbelievable how hideous some of the athletic shoes coming out are now.

@alcatraz5953:

Not saying they can't, but it's not a reason to criticise them. They're not designed to be fashionable. Their purpose is help athletes perform to the best of their ability.

Where did you come up with that crap? I do this stuff for a living. Running shoes are sold as fashion statements far more than for actual exercise.

Athletic shoes are not fashion statements although people use them as such nowadays.

@Pirate700: You can disagree all you like, but you're still wrong.

The primary function of an athletic shoe is no different now to when it was first invented. The whole fashion aspect was added to make trainers appealing to the general public because, and I'll say this slowly...they're...not...athletes. It's a marketing ploy. You're not very bright.

I only ever wear skate trainers. Not that I skate any more, it's just a comfort thing.

Currently I'm wearing a pair of black and white No Fear's, that have been slightly gig'd and festival'd to death.

Especially when I work in the fucking industry and work with these products daily, that you're trying school me on. Keep going though, bro. I'm getting a kick out of it. Really.

You said athletic shoes are not designed to be fashionable. They are. Being fashionable is every bit as important, if not more so than how they perform for sales. Many "athletic" shoes are completely fashion-first now.
