So, can any of you guys figure out the difference between these two guys:
1. Barack Obama
2. Slade Wilson

his doctor
Good guess, but not correct. I don't know if Slade keeps his doctor or not. He's been on mirakuru for 5 years so he probably didn't need a doctor. Now he's cured of the mirakuru, so if he's injured he'd need a doctor, but he's in jail on a remote island so I don't know if he gets proper medical attention.
One is a DC character and the other is a real guy.

I don't know that much about Slade.

Bing Bing Bing Bing we have a winner.
In the season finale (season 2 ep. 23 "Unthinkable") of Arrow Slade says to Oliver: " I keep my promises, kid. I keep my promises! I keep my promises".

I believe part of the nature of being a good politician is the willingness to compromise. Always keeping your promises is the nature of good heroes and good villains.
@Serraph105:
Fair enough. I think people realize that elected officials will be unable to fulfill some promises ("I promise to sign ... into law" but the law never passes Congress), that they will have to compromise, that unforeseen circumstances may render some promises either impossible or unwise to fulfill (for example Obama promised to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, but the vast majority of states do not want those inmates to be imprisoned within their borders, so Obama can't really close the facility until he figures out where to put the inmates). But I think what makes people angry about broken promises is when the promises is about something very dear to them, or when the politician makes promises from the getgo with no intent to keep them (or fully knowing that he can't really do so).
For what it's worth, Slade didn't really keep his promise to take away everything that Oliver loves, kill the woman he loves, and then drive an arrow through his eye. He was prevented from doing so when Felicity injected him with the cure for the mirakuru, and then Oliver defeated him and imprisoned him.
Well I actually like Slade.....
Not nice. Slade is a likeable person, he does seem to have problems with hearing voices in his head and hallucinating though.
Who would've thought that a hallucination of Slade could whoop up on Ollie even worse than the real Slade?
