I'm curious to find out how many OTers with a native language other than English we have.
Mine is Arabic.

I leaned Spanish and English simultaneously, but my education being in English I would say English.
I can think in both languages, but I do prefer English as I find it "easier" there's less lost in translation phrases in comparison to all the different dialects of Spanish.
I primarily speak english as its my main language living in Australia. But i do understand and can speak a social level of Arabic as my background is Lebanese.
You're of Lebanese background? 2ahlan 7abibi :P
Hahaha Im no good at transcribing Lebanese words using the English alphanumeric characters. Although i did understand you there :P
My native language is English, however I have an interest in many languages and I am planning to learn at least two languages, Japanese & Arabic; as they are the languages I have most interest in and I wanted to learn at least two languages; however, originally I only wanted to learn Japanese. Besides my interest in learning Japanese & Arabic, I also have an interest in the following languages, but I do not plan to learn any of them; I have interest in Greek, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Chinese, Hebrew, Yiddish, most if not all of the Indian languages and all of the languages that use the Arabic alphabet; I also have interest in languages that use the Cyrillic alphabet. I also have an interest in the Latin language and at one point considered learning it.
I did not think much about my native language until sometime after having a strong interest in the Japanese language. I became interested more in my native language as a result of my interest in Japanese and language learning in general, despite my native language being a basic and widely used language. I have interest in English, Japanese, and Arabic calligraphy and I plan to relearn English cursive, as I like English cursive and part of my interest in Arabic is because it is a cursive type language. At one point I considered learning medieval English, but I knew this would be impossible or extremely difficult.
Man English is got to be the most boring native language since so many people speak it worldwide :P
Naw. I can't understanding people with Indian, London, or Ebonic dialects.
It's pretty unique in that sense if you're up to the challenge of learning all the dialects.
