Some of you people must have grown up in the poorest ghettos on the face of this earth. Your motivation is to molest money. As if you have never seen it before.
As a child I wanted to be a football player, not for money, not for fame, because I liked to play football. But that never happend.
Most of the COPs her are laid off, so there is no reason to go to the academy.
The fire departments don't need nor want any prob-e's, so is no reason to go to the academy.
I wanted to be a soldier, Army Ranger, Army Special Forces or Army Special Operations. As a field operative/ground pounder. I am a sharp shot with a shoulder supported gun and pretty good with a pistol. So I would prefer to go to sniper school as an additional specialty, also be advanced trained on gunnery since I am already well trained with small arms. Pistol, Subgun, Light machinegun, shotgun and sniper rifle. I'd prefer to be an assaulter first and a sniper second. I like the outdoors and I like adventure, specifically the danger part of it.
BUT by the time I graduated high school.. soldier seemed like a crappy job, the pay is lousy as an enlisted man. It's not good compensation for being shot at and risking dismemberment. It's not that I can't lead, I CAN lead. I just don't want to lead, I don't want the responsibility, so I don't want to be a commisioned officer or even a high ranking NCO. I don't want decissions haunting me for the rest of my life, second guesses full of guilt for the rest of my life. So that cancels out commissioned pay grade. I don't care about the rank. Only the pay grade that comes with the rank.
