What is/was your favorite cartoon growing up?

@foxhound_fox: early 3D was quite terrible for my liking,then again I don't know how much a person could love these back then.

It had charm that most non-Pixar hyper-detailed 3D modern movies and shows lack.

That, and it was the first full length broadcast television show made with 3D rendered graphics.

And yeah, sure, my opinion of it is heavily coloured by nostalgia, but it was and still is an excellent piece of pop culture. Going through each episode and picking out all the references to things is incredibly fun.

@foxhound_fox: I see,no wonder people sometimes refer this cartoon as a cyberpunk genre..but sad is I don't like this specific genre for a reason.

Batman: The Animated Series - even better now as they are releasing the associated comics in graphic novel form.

If you raise it like a fun uncle, they will be as dumb as a rock but, give a dog regulation, disipline and something to make him/her use the brains and it will become smart!

I have the box set - a reflex nostalgia buy a few years back, a little grating today mind you.

Came out around 2005/2006 - JB hifi will have (or at least that's where I bought it). Its a 4-disc beaut - get on it big boy

Its worth a watch - I dig it out on Saturday mornings occasionally. Now all I need is the Dungeons & Dragons box set if it exists - that will however be shite no doubt.
