What is this movie called? (horror)

I saw it a few years ago on DVD, can't remember the name. Basically it's about all the children/youth fall into a deep sleep and wake up as zombies/vampires or something along those lines.

The first scene(s) is when the father goes into his daughters(or sons) room and he/she is having a spasm and he takes him/her to hospital and all the other parents are there with their kids all doing the same thing. Then they all suddenly stop moving at one point and stay like that for ages then eventually (days,weeks,months,years?) later wake up and attack everyone.

The end scene is one of the main characters standing in front of a house and at the back all the "dead" people are standing along the tree line.

Do you know the name of the movie with the talking male crotch and there are some aliens who are observing human behaviors. I saw this movie a long time ago when I was kid and have been wanting to see it again. The male's crotch talks to him and gets him into trouble sometimes, its pretty funny and such.
