What happened to Shaun McInnis?

I haven't heard or read anything by him from here in a long time Was he another casualty of the layoffs, or did he leave on his own? I just found out a few days ago Giancarlo Varinini was let go, too. No one even mentions it when a staff member leaves anymore. I miss the old Gamespot.

This is like being a kid and knowing you shouldn't get too attached to your goldfish cause one day you'll find them all dried up on the carpet, eyes bulging out, as they jumped out of the tank to freedom.

Point is, if you miss him that much, we'll just take you to the store and buy you a shiny new Shaun McInnis.

This is the last time I follow your advice...I found Shaun McInnis outside of the tank, put him back in and now he's not moving...

This is gonna sound sad, but I actually kind of forgot about Shaun lol.

Last time I remember seeing him was a year or two ago, when GS was doing this series and going to different cities and talking about how the local culture inspires game developers they would then interview.
