I'm waiting for when we don't have to use wires and stuff. It's just full of electricity everywere in the air so we don't have to charge our laptops. Or full of internet everywhere. Would be cool.

Ways to travel space quicker and faster, and more safe. So we could reach things we cant even imagine, now that would be awesome. Jealous I wont see it in my life time.

Quantum computers. They will be much faster than electrical ones due to the new algorithm and also would not be using much wires. Their mechanism is based on photons I guess.

honest efficient governments sounds great to me. As for as technology goes... A transformer would be cool. A automoble that can change into a boat, submarine, airplane, spaceship, bed, toilet, and office chair.

Hyper-capacitors that are super cheap: it would allow us to charge all our electronics in seconds, allow for cheap electric cars, and actually make some energy techology (like solar and wind) actually ecnomically viable and competitive with nuclear and coal.
