I prefer the theater, but usually I rent. In the theater, assuming everybody leaves their cellphones and babies in the car, there isn't much to distract you. Which is good, because then you can really get into the movie.

rent. I don't like to go to the theaters. You just can't enjoy a movie in the theater like you can at home (lay down on your sofa, get up for food as you please, pause the movie, etc.)
