  1. Jurassic World - $54,200,000
  2. Inside Out - $52,128,000
  3. Ted 2 - $33,000,000 [new release]
  4. Max - $12,210,000 [new release]
  5. Spy - $7,800,000
  6. San Andreas - $5,275,000
  7. Dope - $2,862,000
  8. Insidious Chapter 3 - $2,025,000
  9. Mad Max: Fury Road - $1,735,000
  10. Avengers: Age of Ultron - $1,643,000

Now that we got the whole Same-Sex marriage out of the way, it's time for the movies box office report as always so let's see. I didn't actually expected to see Jurassic World win the number one spot again in it's 3rd straight week in a role and that $54 million is indeed good to see. Ted 2 making $33 Million is to be expected for a Seth MacFarlane film but I did saw the first Ted movie but didn't feel like watching the second one so I didn't see anything worth watching this week. That said, I'll be surprise if the new Terminator: Genisys will be that good since Salvation left a bad taste in my mouth [going to go check out the new one] but we'll see how it fairs and I doubt Independence Day [U.S holiday] holiday will do any better since that falls on a Saturday.

Glad to see both Jurassic World and Inside Out continue to do well.

@lamprey263: I couldn't bring myself to watch Spy. I'll just Redbox this movie.

Inside Out deserves the top spot but it isn't too far behind so it is alright. That movie was absolutely AMAZING though and way superior to Jurassic World. Actually saw both movies back to back.

Yeah, I think most people know that Jurassic World, on a technical level, was a mediocre movie. It's just an exceptionally fun ride with dinosaurs.

Considering the first Ted opened to 55 million, 33 this weekend is quite a disappointing number. Although I doubt Universal is to concerned. Between Ted, Pitch Perfect 2, and Jurassic World, it's still a fantastic weekend for them.

It's a shame a much better film (Mad Max) didn't do this well. Not enough pg-13 genericness.

Jurassic World - $54,200,000 Mad Max: Fury Road - $1,735,000 Avengers: Age of Ultron - $1,643,000

Of the top ten, I've only seen these three. Jurassic was a lot better than I expected. If I was going to rate ALL 4 Jurassic movies in order of viewing pleasure I'd say 1, 4, 3 and 2 (a very distant 4th place).

Loved loved loved Mad Max Fury Road. Excellent movie (except for the fact that Max was a "supporting player").

Avengers - a bit of a disappointment. Too much angst, and they killed off one of the better characters.
