Hello. What movies do you think may have been snubbed at the time but in retrospect, are better than initially received?

For me "Prince Of Darkness" and "The Last Action Hero" come to mind.

In terms of being underrated, I think Feast is a good one. Got shit reviews but I thought it was an awesomely fun B horror movie. It also has one of if not THE BEST B horror moments ever (can't specify do to spoilers, but those who have seen know exactly what I am talking about)!

Note: Went to link to a trailer and realized that the trailer spoils the exact scene I was referring to. AVOID THE TRAILERS! Just check the movie out if you like stuff such as Evil Dead 2 and Cabin in the Woods.

Oh, oh, oh ohohoohohohoh.

Cable Guy. This movie got shat on at release. One of the best dark comedies made imo.

Wonderful.

Spaceballs as well (for some reason) got shat on during its release.

Going to have to go with the movie "Dredd".. Took me completely by surprised, I was dragged along expecting a bad movie, what I got was quite the opposite.. That is the most recent movie I can think of that was criminally under-ratted.

Dredd was very well received. It done absolute shit in the box office but critically, it done really well. Very sad it will probably never get any (and it was planned) sequels.

Rocky 4 as well comes to mind. At the time, critics ripped it. I think in retrospect, it's a classic that enriches humanity by being fucking awesome. Almost like the best comic book movie made, that didn't have a comic book. Even to this day the montages still get mimicked.
