Didn't get the email yet. Maybe after I wake up at around 7 ish I'll have it

....or I could just wait until I get the actual letter...

nervous. The school is RPI, btw. Applied Early Decision

What was funny, when I got accepted, the email showed up about 3 hours ahead of the physical letter, only problem was I had been on the Xbox all day and hadn't checked my emails! I was so filled with anticipation I nearly couldn't open the letter. That could have been avoided if I had only seen the email.

i had to get mine the old fashioned way via regular mail. back in 1997 not many schools were sending out acceptance notifications via email

once you go to college your realize how overrated it is. It pretty much is delaying having to work for the rest of your life. Most of the classes colleges make you take to earn your degree are crap and worthless when it comes to actually using what you learn in your post college job. If colleges would cut out half of the required classes we all could save $10-$20,000 and get only what we really need to excell. Unless taking Yoga and Basket weaving make you a complete person ready to take on the world.

I've had conditional offers from Salford and Plymouth. Still waiting on Greenwich, Worcester and Canterbury though. Almost had a heart attack looking for my personal ID to log into the UCAS website after I got the first email.

Good luck :) When I applied to Caltech last year, though, I got turned down...twice. If that happens, don't let it get you down; there're always other colleges out there that'll gladly accept you...
