My summer was ok. I worked the whole summer to pay off tuition/bills so I really didn't do anything special. How about you guys?

It was okay.
I did spend time taking summer classes on campus, but it was cool cause I got to meet a bunch of fellow freshmen and I pretty much know my way around campus.
It was pretty good on one hand, not on the other.
On one hand, pretty much all I did was play video games, use the computer and sleep.
On the other hand, I didn't really go out or accomplish much.
Other than videogames. That was pretty sweet.
I still have a little bit left of summer though.
No, my summer sucked. I spent the whole time working every day full time in a lab which would have been fine and great were it not for the fact that crisis after crisis kept popping up. And once everything settled down I now find out that the lab has to cut back on personnel which means my ass is the first one out the door. So now I have to scramble to find a new lab to work and hope against reality that I can get back to the same position I was at in my old lab (ie about to have a publication and an honor's thesis). Seriously, all I needed was 6-12 more months and I would've been ****ing set for grad school. Even the ivy leagues would have been within realistic reach.
Yes quite fun. I went to Tampa, went to the beach (the motel was right across the street, where the waves were apprently as big as they'd been in the past few years), saw a Rays game, got to see alot of family) and rented a boat with my dad, uncle, and brother (man trip ftw). I went to Virginia Beach which wasn't that exciting but I saw a few cousins, and went to the beach there (wasn't a great day though), and also got to go white water rafting (and not your father's white water rafting) the rafting included people jumping from raft to raft and tackling others off, and making all attempts to get a bucket and get the other rafts wet (obviously we broke every saftey rule but no one cared)
It was honestly pretty boring.

mine was too for the most part but chilled and relaxing which is okay with me
[QUOTE="TecmoGirl"]I must agree a bit with that. Although, it did have some teeny tiny highlight. Note on the teeny tiny. I spent it taking online classes for college, too. That's all I did, plus other few fun stuff. Me too I didn't even go to the beach -sigh- I need me some friends...This was easily the lamest summer ever for me.

Hmmm, let's see. My laptop broke out of warranty, my bike was stolen, my expensive earphones broke, and I have been taking/still am taking courses during all of summer that are difficult/I don't like . . . I'd say pretty ******* terrible.
