Did a college kill your mother or something? Your level of bitterness is almost comical

Maybe people should do more research on what college they want to go to and find out ways how to save as much money as you can by cheating the system.

Is college and university the same thing in America? The words seem to be used interchangeably.

I am not surprised Savannah State is on there. I am from that city(my family lives there still). Its a dump and everyone usually goes to Armstrong the better 4 year uni or Scad the major art school. I did not like any of the local Us so I went to uga after highschool.

Usually a university is made of multiple colleges. Like college of engineering, college of business, college of arts..you get the point.

Colleges are no longer designed to give people the skills and avenues leading toward a career. They're degree mills more interested in getting you to go into dept for a certificate that won't give people the skills/qualifications needed to pay that debt off and might not even land you a job.

Most of the friends I have who went to various colleges (2 year and 4 year) do not work in the fields they studied and graduated in. They all believe they wasted their money and time and had they the choice, would never have gone to college. They would probably say all colleges are wastes of money.

As for listed colleges, not surprised Jackson State is on that list. All Universities in Mississippi automatically get negative points because... Mississippi.

Not only that but the school district here and how they manage things relating to education in my town are just terrible. Students are being too pressured up to do well in school yet the staff doesn't really seem to care all that much.

Community college is dirt cheap and often more competitive than universities when you classmates were applying for Harvard scholarship and actually got it.

Yeah. My sister went to community college for free. The only issue is some of their credits don't transfer to a 4 year college after the student does.
