Baker decorates 4/5 of the cookies in 36 minutes, so to do 5/5 of the cookies he decorates them in 33.2 minutes, or 33 minutes and 12 seconds.

the second one is more straightforward. 36x5= 180 minutes = 3 hours

Does this post and these others help your question? I sure hope so. And if not let me add one little thing...

Those cookies better be Oreos or this question has absolutely no chance to be cool whatsoever.

Uh, it would take the baker 45 minutes to bake them all himself...

Let A be the baker and B the assistant
(A's 1 day work) : (B's 1 day work)=4:1
(A+B)'s 1 days work=1/36
Divide 1/36 in ratio 4:1
A's 1 day work = (1/36) * (4/5) = 45
Therefore the BAKER takes 45 min to complete the work
The assistant will take 4 times time taken by baker i.e 4*45=180 min..

Let me know if the answer is right :)

A teacher got fired from my old high school for throwing a marker at a student. I'm suprised you got in trouble for what you did.
