I agree with that entire ranking.

Just the suspension bridge scene and the hilarious dinner scene are enough to place Temple of Doom at the top of the list!

I like The Last Crusade best. Then I'd say Raiders/Crystal Skull and then Temple of Doom (Ive only seen this one once a long while back, dont even know if I finished it. Should give it another go)

Raiders is the best. Then Crusade.

Temple and Crystal Skull are each different levels of awful.

Holy shit, someone else who loved Temple of Doom.

I don't get the hate that movie gets so much. So many people talk like it's just a given that it's not on the same level as the others in the original trilogy. I've never understood where that comes from.

Anyway, that list, in that order, is exactly what I was going to post.

Raiders.

Then Crusade. Then Temple.

There are only three movies.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark I found that shorty kid to be annoying

Raiders of the Lost Ark followed closely by The Last Crusade...then I just try to ignore the other two exist as a rule.

i dont hate it at all.. its just the weaker of the 3 in the original trilogy imo.. i think lack of nazis and Kate Capshaw's character are what make it my least favorite

The Last Crusade was always my favorite.

I would say raiders and crusade are neck and neck, followed by temple of doom. And as far as I am concerned those are the only Indiana Jones movies

Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Crusade and raiders are my top two, but i usually give it to Crusade. Temple isn't my ideal Indy adventure, but it is nice to see them try going a different approach with the character. Last would be Crystal Skull...isn't awful but just alright. It has been a while since I have seen most fo them though.

first and third movie are best. second is good and 4rd movie is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

third movie - fun and funny.

If i have to take something then third because of those jokes and his father. Second favorite is first movie. Third favorite is second movie. Crystal skull does not exist for me.

It's a tough one between Raiders of the Last Ark, and the Last Crusade but if I had to choose one, I'd have to give it to The Last Crusade.

Never watched it. I should though.

I know exactly why I like Temple of Doom: From the perspective of a pre-CGI SFX junkie, it's head-and-shoulders above the others.

Yes, all three of the original movies used matte paintings, model work and blue-screen compositing, but none to the extent that Temple of Doom did.

The mine-cart chase sequence, the flooding of the mine, the water bursting from the cliff-face, the suspension-bridge sequence ... they're all masterpieces of pre-CGI special effects, and they all hold up remarkably well today.

Raiders slightly edges out Last Crusade, but both are much better than the other two.
