Supernatural fans, what do you think of season 6? MAJOR SPOILERS

Hello fellow Supernatural fans. I've recently rewatched the 5th season and I've come to the conclusion that the 6th season is highly uneccesary. Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch it, and it's still pretty good, but it isn't really needed. The 5th season had a great conclusion, and it would have worked really well as the serie's finale. So, what are your opinions on it?

In addition, what is your favorite season so far? Mine was 2. There were just so many great stand alone episodes, and the finale was suitably epic.

It's still better than most of the crap dramas on TV. That says something for the serie's quality.

Really anything on US tv that is not reality tv, public servant drama, or sitcom is worthy of some recognition and praise.

i like it

While not as epic or whatever you want to call it, as season 4-5, it feels like supernatural, the whole alpha monster thing is cool, i enjoyed soulless Sam, and with new realms like the faerie realm, and purgatory, i am interested to see where the season is going.
There is also the war in heaven, and balthazar with the angel weapons he stole.

Lots going on this season

Well, the first episode felt completely off, I don't really like the new sam, but it's still pretty good.

I'm still enjoying the show. I feel we're being set up for some major stuff towards the end of the season.

Needs more Cas though. >_>
