Summer Slam Cena vs Lesner !

Anybody see this match ? I don't care how fake you think wrestling is, if you got suflexed 16 times, by Brock Lesner, i'm sure you would feel it. Lesner was suppose to loose according to the script, but shit got real. Opinions ?

Highly unlikely. If Lesnar intentionally went off-script that would be a great way to get him fired. People said the same thing about Lesnar vs the Undertaker, claiming that he was scripted to lose but intentionally held Taker down so he couldn't kick out.

I will admit that it was a squash that I can't say I've ever seen a main event face get in years, if ever.

was one heck of a match, demolished Cena. If i were a Cena fan, i would be crushed in shock. Thats a terrible way to loose.

Oh I will have to watch wrestling tonight to see what all happened last night. I still don't see why you said it was scripted for Cena to win.

I stopped watching WWE when they removed most of the high flyers, that was where the entertainment was for me but I really don't understand how people still confuse fake and scripted. Fake are most of Youtube's "reaction" videos. WWE is a soap opera with scripted violence in the mix...I don't hear people saying "You watch tv shows? lolz, that shit is fake..."

I knew Lesnar after UFC decided he wasn't going play "theatre" all night and 16 Suplexes proves it. Makes for good WWdrama anyways.

1. Personally I haven't been an avid fan since they changed it from WWF to WWE. And also mainly the roster split. Both of these move happened in 2002.

2. When he mentioned fake, he meant more of the actual pain of the moves being applied.

That was definitely the most dominate main event ppv performance in WWE history. Lesner is really getting push with ending the streak and now this. Maybe they are trying to build up the return of Angle since he is really the Yin to Lesner's Yang.

@PSP107: I wasn't referring to his meaning per se, I was referring to the people who ridicule wrestling watchers because they're watching something that's "fake", while themselves enjoying plenty of media that's scripted and acted, so I don't really understand the double standard =)

Let me guess, Cena's gonna talk about how this is his toughest challenge, puts himself as the underdog and then triumphs in the end... Too many times this has happened.

To those people, I'll argue that wrestlers always do their own stunts. I'll also point out during the WWF days, the wrestlers are better actors than people in tv/movies.

What confuses me is that people don't even bash on their acting, they just say it's fake like wrestling is pretending to be UFC or something...

I read what happened in the match before I even saw this thread. Doesn't mean they won't pull another cliched Cena storyline afterwards.
