Hello. What tv episodes (from any show) stand out for you? List as many as you like. They can be from the same show if you like.

These are memorable and excellent episodes in a series run that stood out.

  • Xfiles: Terms Of Endearment
  • Xfiles: Fire
  • Breaking Bad: Granite State
  • Quantum Leap: Jimmy
  • Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Inner Light
  • Star Trek: The Next Generation: All Good Things - (the real ending as far as I'm concerned)
  • Deep Space 9: In the Pale Moonlight
  • Deep Space 9: Duet
  • Battlestar Galactica: The Hub

I'll limit it to one episode per series

X-Files: Home
Breaking Bad: Ozymandias
Buffy: The Body
Friday Night Lights: The Son
The Sopranos: Long Term Parking
Hannibal: Mizumono

Stargate SG-1 Window of Opportunity. One of the funniest TV show episodes I've ever seen.

House MD - House's Head/Wilson't heart, also Broken

Game of Thones - Episode 9 of season 1,2, and 3.

White Collar - Countdown (one of Neal's coolest moments imo)

South Park - Scott Tennorman (going old school but still)

The last three episodes of Breaking Bad are insane.

Parks and Rec's season 6 finale "Moving Up" is absolutely outstanding.

Despite their inconsistencies, LOST and Dexter had some absolute gems that will go on to be some of the best TV episodes of all time.

Oh, and the Scrubs series finale (the season 8 one, not the terrible Interns show).

two instantly come to mind. both from Fringe. both from Season 4.

Making Angels. finally an Astrid episode and Jasika Nicole(Astrid) delivered.

Worlds Apart. Ending of a great story arc.

Oh and "Lysergic Acid Diethylamide" was also a great episode.

As was "Letters of Transit", "The Bullet That Saved The World" The Human Kind", "Brave New World(parts 1 and 2)".

Having rewatched the first season of Deep Space 9: the first season was very poor aside from "Duet" (which is downright amazing imo). Many of them border on mediocre. It's interesting digging into the library and seeing how shows progressed with retrospective and a good example of a show finding it's feet, tends to be the other way around.

Gotta agree with you on Star Trek TNG "Inner light". That was a particularly poignant episode.

30 Rock: Succession, Tracy Does Conan, MILF Island, Dance like Nobody's Watching, Queen of Jordan

Parks and Recreation: Ron and Tammy 2, The Debate, 94 Meetings

Arrested Development: Motherboy XXX...actually, every episode of Arrested Development

Seinfeld: The Contest, (soo many others)

Futurama: Amazon Women in the Mood

American Dad: A Smith in the Hand
