and there was a team of soccer kids who just won their championship. They're holding up their trophy when they see a group of kids with Happy Meals. They get sad and drop the trophy. What the hell is society trying to teach our children? " Oh no, don't put your mind to something because you want to succeed, instead have a Happy Meal!" "10 minutes off your life with every bite!"

I imagined the fat kids would have dropped their happy meals and got sad when they saw the trophy...

I think you're reading into this a bit too much.

The marketing department was probably up til 3am trying to come up with a "good" idea before the dead line and in the end they just said "SCREW IT, let's just use some kids that aren't ugly and have them throw away a big trophy for some happy meals".

Since you know, McDonalds totally didn't make that T.V Cartoon to attract children. Just like this totally dosen't mean "Kids, don't do sports, do Big Mac"

The weirdest mcdonalds commercial hands down is the one where the kid is dancing and dipping his fries.

I don't make a habit of searching for McDonalds commericials. If anything I just switch between channels during commericials most of the time.

It is terrible, but I don't think any kid would really do that. When they do, expect people to start jumping off mountains to get a Mountain Dew and doing everything else food/drink commercials tell them to do.

What about...

"McDonalds makes you a winner any day."

or

"Just because the game is over doesnt mean you still cant celebrate"

or

"Nothing like a good meal to raise your spirits"

or

"A trophy you can eat is worth more than a trophy you can drop" :)

And we're almost stepping over the line to conspiracy theories here, they are actually giving out messages to children that say "we want you to become fat and addicted to our high-fat dressings and diabetes-causing sodas"? Children and their parents aren't that stupid...

While I see where your coming from, I'd disagree with the "arn't that stupid" part. Have you ever noticed that when a toy commercial or something of the like comes on a child will stare at that screen like the second coming of Jesus? Hell, I remember when I was a kid, moment I saw Rock-em Sock-em boppers I asked my parents to buy me a pair.

True, it's a commercial, but it's the message behind it that's so horrible.

Fast food is fine in moderation. I have fast food twice every 7 days and my health is good :D I eat good throughout the week but fast food in moderation is good lol. McDonalds to cheer up a losing kids soccer team is okay. Anyways the parents who do give their kids fattening food in excess (not in moderation) aren't good at keeping kids healthy lol.

LMAO!

I laughed by head off when the nuggets said, "We're made of chopped up polticians!?" and when he said Grimace was picking from the kid's menu.

Well duh. Happy Meals as a kid are awesome. You would think -- as the team who won, their parents would have been smart enough to have gotten them happy meals too.
