That would be a mix of the two then and not pure socialism.-Wicked_Sick-

Most of the economies of the world are mixed economies. Neither pure capitalism nor pure socialism exists. Since the great depression, democratic governments began to intervene in the economy to correct the worst abuses inherent in capitalism.

Then I guess your example doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

So first you say in another topic:
"Capitalism sucks, I want communism!"
Then you say here:
"No, no. Communism sucks, I want socialism!"
Then you say
"No, no. Socialism alone isn't right. I want socialism AND capitalism! YAY!"

What will you say next? Well, I do think that your current answer is the best, so I suggest you stick with it unless you can come up with something revolutionary... No, not the anarchy thing.

Socialism.. I have to say capitalism has corrupted just about all facets of our government.. Where big business through lobbying is what controls the politicians.. Capitalism is nice and all but there odvious huge disadvantges to it.. Our growing lower class is proof of this, where the poor are getting poorer and the rich richer.. In the end a person will always take advantage of the many to become rich, thats why I think Socialism could be a fine balance.. Giving the same competitve edge for capitalism while helping the unfortantes.

Middle-wing politics FTW. Basic health care services provided etc. etc. etc. but should have an encouraging climate for free enterprise.

Capitalism. Socialism and Communism just don't work and the Monarchy is outdated.

Godly_Cure

Communism is too extreme but socialism can work. Sweden for example is the most solid socialist state, yet it doesnt seem they are very poor nor that they are going down under.

Sweden is a capitalistic monarchy, numbnuts.

Capitalism is a kin to disease, It puts money with imaginary value above life it's self.

Capitalism with some socialist elements so exploitation cannot occur, or is at least limited.

Communism would be an utopian dream but realistically is probably unattainable.
