PS: Im trying to major in IT so if any IT majors can tell me what it was like there first day, or even first few weeks of school that would be amazing =)

No, for the most part you just go over the syllabus and introduce yourselves. It was only in math where I actually had to take notes and in a music class the homework was read three chapters. So usually the first day isn't hard at all

My first day of college was boring since that's when all the professors explain their class requirements and the school rules. I didn't get any homework that day either if I remember correctly.

My first day of uni I turned up an hour late, kind of bumbled in in front of 130 students wearing some odd clothes, like I'd been dressed by drunk children who wanted to dress me in all colours of the rainbow. It all sort of went downhill from there.

First year was easy tbh - depends on the course you're doing I guess, but for me (psych) it was just very cruisy...

My very first day of college was in Fall 2001 when I started at community college. My first day was good, as I recall. My first day of university was Fall 2006. My first day of graduate school was Fall 2009.

I'll be returning this Fall for my final quarter of graduate school (I hope). All my coursework is finished and all I have left is to retake one of my comprehensive exams, which should be around November. I'm teaching three labs for Calculus I this Fall, and hopefully an algebra lecture.
