You don't need the "power" of the Dark Side to save anyone. The greatest power of the force comes from emotions... the problem with the Sith view is, it is all negative emotions that are drawn on, not positive ones. A Jedi will tell you that all emotions lead to the Dark Side, they are also wrong. Emotions only empower a Force user and give them greater control over themselves and the Force.

Anakin could easily have saved Padme had he not been so impatient and self-righteous. The path of the Grey Jedi, one who flows with the Force in all its ebb and flow will come to understand its true power.foxhound_fox
