Should the Giants get rid of Shockey?

Over the past couple of weeks....Eli Manning has been playing the best football of his career. It might be purely coincidental...but isnt it weird how he starts to pick it up after Shockey gets hurt?

I think that Shockey might just be a distraction to Manning and they should get rid of him.
