@Ballroompirate: 6% really isn't all that high. Also, I'm not ignoring anything.

Anyway, your habit of making claims and only later bothering to check the facts makes you look just plain foolish.

You do realize 6% of 316 million people is around 18.5 million jobless people....holy shit the delusions is strong with you, seriously can I live in your little world cause I'd love to tell all those millions of people "hey you don't matter, you're just the minority".

@Ballroompirate: Yes, I understand how math works. That has NO bearing, though, on the fact that a 6% unemployment rate really isn't all that high. Could it be lower? Of course. Would it be better if it was lower? Sure. Still, 6% is really not an unreasonably high unemployment rate.

"I'd love to tell all those millions of people "hey you don't matter, you're just the minority"."

Why would I tell anybody that? At no point have I said anything that would lead a reasonable person to believe that I don't think those in a minority matter.

Again your delusional, you're looking at the 6% and thinking "what 6% ain't crap", we're talking about 6% of 316 million people which is what around 18.5 million people, that's the whole population of the state of Colorado almost times 4.

We're not talking about a few hundred thousand people, we're talking about MILLIONS of people, that's not even debatable on "that's really not high".

The fact that you think that the raw number of unemployed has any bearing on whether or not the unemployment RATE is too high shows us that you lack a basic understanding of statistics and economics.

Lol says the guy who says 6% isn't high. Also I guess I was a good 9 million off, there's only 9.75 million jobless with the decline of 0.2 from last month while there's wait for it 92 million working aged Americans who don't have work

Saucey just for you
