It's honestly one of my favorite consoles, if not my absolute favorite. It had great games with a great controller and it was so reliable, my Gamecube has been working for almost ten years and it still works exactly the way it did when I first got it and it also takes almost no space.

The speed run consists of heavily breaking it though when it comes to OoT. They do some weird glitch where they get a bottle before they're supposed too, grab bugs, release the bugs after the boss in the Deku Tree and jump into the warp thingy and they just teleport to the final boss some how from doing all that.

Yeah i'm surprised they can keep their servers up that long but it's probably not gonna last long, just give it a year or two.

Instead of making Conker, Viva Pinata, Fable etc they decided to make Halo, Halo and more Halo, i just hope when the Next Gen Xbox is announced they bring back all those good exclusives i mentioned or new ones also if the Always Online rumor is true then it's gonna be pretty easy to pick which next gen console to buy.

Exclusives are important, but I really just hope that next gen we still see a large number of high quality multi-plats.  As much as people argue over exclusives most great games are usually multi-plat.  I hope we get some awesome new series, and that they don't try to be gimmicky just because they're "next gen".

I mean look at all the memorable series that have started this gen - series that people had no idea were going to emerge.  Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Arkham titles etc.  I hope we have more great series in store that we have no idea about right now.  I also hope the aforementioned series continue, particularly Mass Effect, I feel there's a lot left to do in that universe.

Per Mass Effect, even though the ending would probably be known, I would love to see a game detailing the first contact war. Even if it was a straight up shooter.

I'd be fine, in fact, probably stoked about a first contact war plot, provided we got to explore more of the galaxy, lore, planets etc.  I would not want it turning into a complete shooter though. Imo that'd ruin a lot of what makes Mass Effect great.  Shooters tend to mean that you are essentially just progressing through action, and in a good one, story.  I want more exploration not less.  Particularly of built up planets and stuff.  I mean the Citadel and Illium have so much potential for awesomeness.  They are already pretty sweet, but imo the first Mass Effect is the only one that even attempted to realize the potential fo the Citadel.

Also, the choices, I have confidence that despite the mediocre ending of ME3, there is still a lot of greatness to be had in the choice aspect of gameplay.

I would prefer it not to be a shooter, but I think if done well, it can fill in the back story over human expansion. One reason an RPG-ish type game might not be feasible with the 1st contact war is due to the key parts basically known. I would like to have them do more on Illium, Sur'Kesh, and Palavan, and previous cycles as well.

Only problem I have is fanboys comparing it to GTAV.
