Oh yeah, that reminds me, I wonder if e-marriage threads are still allowed in here? Ever since last night I actually was thinking of creating one. Just seems like a thread like that could spice up the dying ghost town that is OT.

Well if you like drama, oddly I like it too, might possibly depend on the type of drama though. I mean some may think its bad to like drama, but sometimes there needs to be some interesting entertainment. (And let's face it, this forum sure could use some entertainment now. Course, not saying it needs to be drama though, also not sure if drama is frowned upon for rules around here, most likely it is.) :P

@Toph_Girl250: You make it sound worse than it is. Its just a dumb thread which leads to a lack of structure in the thread which results in the entertainment which at times, can be considered that way. Its not as if you are annoying people on purpose with a religious thread made solely to annoy them

I'm pretty sure they do that to try to keep more control of spambots and stuff.

Lol that reminds me, I don't think there's actually a whole lot of people around here I'd annoy if I made something like an Atheism Rocks thread. :P Not saying I'm actually gonna create one though, like you just said, definitely threads like that are far more likely to get locked before you can say "inb4lock." :P

I like to read and listen to music at the same time. However it makes the connection from the music I listen to too the book I'm reading very strong. For many years I just needed to hear one Linkin Park song from their Hybrid Theory album and I would remember all of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

@horgen: Definitely! Although sometimes it doesn't work all that well. I remember when I was reading The Da Vinci Code, my neighbor was completely obsessed with Usher's "Yeah" and she'd listen to it on a loop so to this day every time I hear anything by Usher I still think of Dan Brown; talk about a strange association...

Also got one of my favourite songs of all time ruined for a couple of years because I made the mistake of setting it as a ringtone but most of the calls I'd get were from my asshole boss (his office was next to mine and yet he couldn't be assed to come in; he'd call me on my cell (not even the company's phone) and tell me to make a backup of my project, print all the documentation and go to his office next door...he had no idea what was going on in his own company, so I guess it was his way of feeling like he was in control). So yeah, for a few years after I quit I couldn't listen to that song without thinking of my boss...

That's a weird association.

For ringtones and alarms, I can't use songs I like, unless I can specify which song will be used as ringtone when whoever calls me. You could do that on old phones, but I haven't seen the option on my iPhone.

@horgen: You can set it on the contacts themselves. When you edit a contact you can set both the ringtone and vibration pattern for that contact.

I don't know. I assume that the post limit is removed/raised (I have not tested if there are any limits higher up. Haven't heard of any) once you make your 25th or 26th post.

It could be the day after you make your 25th post, but I don't think so.

If that is the case and I exceed that post limit again, that is dumb

I've always understood it so that it is raised when you reach 25 posts. You got 26 now so you are above the limit. It's not the old times when the servers had to run their daily update before posting permissions where lifted. :P

This will be the fifth (so I'll know after I post this)
