Roll Call: Live Long and Prosper

In memory of the late Leonard Nimoy, let us start off by talking about our first Star Trek experience and go from there.

Let me take this opportunity to once again express my RIP feelings towards Mr Nimoy. I'm not one of Star Trek's old time fans but I still recognize his contribution.

My first experience with Star Trek was the three Patrick Stewart movies. Never watched the tv show.

Quite an appropriate theme as well. Saw this image yesterday and it made me kind of sad. (Will explain it if there's anyone who doesn't know what it means)

@korvus: I don't know what it means...

@johnd13: There are many variations of Rock-Paper-Scissors with 5 items, but the most known is Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock...but there's no Spock anymore =(

@korvus: Ah I see. Regular rock-paper-scissors sounds so boring right now.

@johnd13: You can just go nuts with it if you have the patience to memorise it all.

Or if you're really crazy (and don't have the patience to think if this one would really work)

@korvus: That's it, I'm quitting college to master the art of rock-paper-scissors-[insert crazy stuff]! :P

Very interesting Korvus. Now let me be the one to say my final goodbye to Leonard Nimoy.

@korvus: I never managed to solve Rubik's cube. Not that I actually ever commited myself to it. I just liked the touch and sound of turning the pieces. :D

@johnd13: Yeah, I had one as a kid but it never really peaked my interest enough to take the time to get good at it =P

@korvus: I suspect solving it in public would be a babe magnet. If only I knew back then.

@johnd13: I don't think so. You'd probably pass as an obsessed guy who would spend his life learning all sorts of useless skills and never have enough time for whoever he's with. I think it would work more as a babe repelant =P

Hi HJP and new RC!

Hey! Haven't seen you in ages! :D

Yea I'm so boring I haven't had anything to say. Seriously. :P How are you though? And what's new around here?

^not much, about the only thing I can think of that's really new and interesting around here is this new RC thread. :P

Guess I'll say it again: RIP nimoy, you will be missed.

Also I really got to try and watch some Star Trek episodes. :P

Finally, a new RC, I thought there was never going to be another new one!!! One last R.I.P. message to my fav Star Trek actor as well.

Also, the snow here sucks, 3 weeks of snow, screw this state.

Say has anyone seem @sheikhspeare ? I haven't seen him post here for weeks now.
