man how the **** do i change my avatar
Agreed, and "Off the Wall", the album that contains the song, is his best album. The title song from "Off the Wall" is his only solo song that's close.
I do like a couple of his power ballads with the J5 better though, "Never can say goodbye" and "I'll be there".
@EPICCOMMANDER:
Nah, "Rock with You" was far better than BJ
It's not even the best song from that album. "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" is better.
Human Nature
Man in the Mirror
Don't stop till you get enough
Smooth Criminal
Wannabe Starting Something
PYT
Just off the top of my head, all of those are better than Rock With You.
Just no one mention Bad, which is MJ's worst single

I have an original release Off The Wall on Vinyl. It's Rad.

Bad was the better album.
And I agree with the J5 though. Before his 2009 passing, I only knew a few J5 songs but since I've discovered a lot. "Looking Through The Windows" has been my favorite since heard I it in 2013.

I agree. It also showed his vocal skills in that song. But let me ask you this, is it a disco song?
Nobody cares about that freak anymore.
This. Justin Bieber is our new King of Pop.
LOL, no.

Uh, yes, it is. That album is notable for containg some of the last few true disco songs.

MJ has worse singles than Bad.
The Girl is Mine, Heal the World, Childhood, etc. MJ is good when he's cool and has a bit of an edge. He's bad when he's schmaltzy and sappy.

I don't get the intense love for Bad on this forums. It sounds clunky and dated to me. Thriller has aged better.
I don't find any of MJ's albums to be super impressive however. He's more of a single's artist IMO, one of the best.
Nobody cares about that freak anymore.
Who's the avatar?
AC/DC's Angus Young. Are you going to say nobody cares about that freak either. It's o.k. if you did. :)

In my opinion,AC/DC is a lot better then MJ or any other pop star.Except MJ can sing/dance better then Angus Young. lol.
Except MJ can sing/dance better then Angus Young. lol.
Considerably better.
There's no doubt MJ has talent, lot's of it.But pop music is not my thing.I'm into Classic Rock/Metal.I think MJ can dance better then most/all,I just can't stand dance music, sorry.
Considerably better.

haha, no I was only taking about how MJ is a better singer and a better dancer than Angus Young. I wasn't comparing each of their respective music.

Oh that makes sense now. You're one of those butthurt metal fans that hate every other genre but Metal. lol

I have no butthurt whatsoever.I love all kinds of rock:Buddy Holly,Chuck Berry to Megadeth,Iron Maiden.I don't consider myself a metalhead at all.I even like folk music.I appreciate all types of music,so where you get I'm a hardcore metalhead from,I don't know.
Considerably better.

I think it's obvious Mr.Jackson is a better singer and dancer then Angus,I would think everyone knows that. lol.MJ is probably one of the greatest performers of all time, but I think since this scandal with him molesting children,a lot of people didn't bother with him as a performer or as a person.I won't judge him right or wrong in what he is accused of,but a lot of people are not so forgiving or forgetting. For a large part of former fans,MJ is just a dirty word.
@brimmul777:
You hate everything that surpassed metal like Disco, Nu Wave, Rap/Hip Hop and pretty much "popular music" Admit it.
And why are you bringing up his allegation case when the topic was his best song?
I dislike those type of music, simply because I just don't like "today's"music.I also don't like much of any music today, and yes, even metal/rock/hardrock,etc... I think 99.99.99% of all music is garbage today, and even quite a few years back, but then again it's just my opinion.I'm not trying to sway anyone any other way.I don't hate any music because it buried old style rock.Rock'N'Roll has had it's day, just like pop/hip hop/rap will have there day and something else will take over that genre of music.
As far as bringing up the allegation's of MJ molesting case, all I meant by it is some people no matter how good the music is,they can't seem to look past the "child molesting accusation".I know for myself if one of my music icons was molesting children/rape,I wouldn't care how good the band is,I would not bother buying there albums anymore, but again that's my opinion, not trying to sway anyone else's opinion.
@Nuck81:
I did too, but I've long since got rid of my albums.
SHAME!!!!

Dated is the perfect word for BAD. Most of MJ's songs are timeless

So you hated "Today's music" for 30-40 years?

To be honest, there has been a major change in music since the early 1990's when grunge music hit big, with bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden. It started a new wave of rock'n'roll and it was never the same again.I wouldn't say it was 30-40 years, maybe a little over 20 years. You'd have to admit your self that rock'n'roll in general isn't what it was, that's if you know anything about rock/hard rock/metal/..etc.

Disco was 70's
Nu Wave/British Pop 80's
Rap/Hip Hop 90's
if we're sticking to rock(mainly metal)
Early- Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent, Kiss, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple
New Wave of British Heavy Metal- Judas Priest, Moterhead and Iron Maiden
Glam- Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt and Van Halen
Trash- Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer.
Grunge- Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam And Alice in Chains
Nu Metal- Rage Against the Machine, Korn and Limp Bizkit
Shock Rock- Marilyn Manson
That's more than 30-40 years.
Man in the Mirror, Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, You Are Not Alone, Human Nature, I'll Be There, Rock With You, and of course ABC are all my top tracks from him and I don't know if I could pick a favorite as it really depends on my mood. I'm a fan of most of his work though. The man was a musical genius and an amazing dancer. After watching This Is It, my respect for him as a performer only went up. The amount of care he put into a single show is astounding. I would've loved to see him perform live.
