My brother is 19 years old. Imagine if this was you. Would you want a pair of rayban sunglasses for Christmas?

You know your brother better than we do. Is he into sunglasses and buys new ones often or needs a new pair? If yes, then it's probably a good gift...if you've never seen him even showing an interest in sunglasses then it's probably not.

$129, does your brother have any more urgent need? If not, sure, Rayban's are nice.

I would personally go with theses:

but they can be an acquire taste so I would not buy them for another person unless I was absolutely sure they would like them.

Over the summer he bought these cheap fake ray-bans and was saying how he found these on ebay for $5 and they look like rayban's. They were cheap knockoffs

Then he would probably foam from the mouth if he got the real deal; just maybe make sure that he doesn't actually need the money more than he needs the sunglasses.

If you can afford it, I really can't see a reason that he wouldn't like it (unless you live in Alaska and it's nighttime for like 6 months)

Not my thing, but maybe just ask him what he would like?

Or you could hint at it and see if he has any interest.

Ray Bans are lame. If you're gonna get him sunglasses get him a pair of Versace or LV.

Sure, why not? I have a pair and they're pretty spiffy. If he needs some good sunglasses, then go nuts.

I wear sunglasses/Ray-Ban with the aviator type being my favorite. I'd be happy to get one for Christmas.

Besides, it beats coal anytime. He He.

Those are nice sunglasses and everyone needs a good pair of sunglasses. Sounds like as good a Christmas present as any. It's the thought that counts.

Hey if he likes that style I don't see why this would be a bad gift.

On a personal note I am very picky about sunglasses and these wouldn't make the cut. Sunglasses are all about how they look on me and make me look. Don't get me wrong if someone got me these I would be very impressed with the price as well as show my gratitude, but the style wouldn't fit me.

I don't bandwagon that much so I'd go more with Versace or Gucci when it comes to expensive ass sunglasses.
