Yeah, I have been watching it. It is great. My favorite part so far is when it showed the snow leopard trying to catch that mountain goat, deer thing. It almost had it, but just lost it because it jumped off the cliff into the river. The way snow leopard moved was amazing, so precise. So fast.

Yeah I saw the whole thing last Sunday. I didn't get the most out of it though with this 20 inch tube TV! It seems like something aimed at huge HD tvs right?

What a series. Did anyone else keep up with it every week? Truly remarkable.

Does anyone know if their Best Buy is currently carrying the series DVD? All of my other local retail stores do not carry it, and I don't really want to order it off online.

I completely agree. The shots they got were amazing. The shark eating that seal? Priceless. I think that great white got 15 feet over the water! The snow leopard hunt was really cool too. I cannot wait to get this on DVD.

It's already been shown in Australia and Europe. It's an excellent series. I love the shots of planet earth from space.

Its awesome. In HD, it must be mind blowing. Its not just another nature show. They've got footage on a ton of animals you've never seen before doing stuff you've never seen before.

I caught a few episodes. I think I'll pick it up on Blu-ray to really show off my TV sometime.

You should watch blue planet. It's a lot better because they show the weirdest creatures all the way down in the deep sea.

I TiVo every episode.  IMO it is quite frankly the absolute best show on TV.  Truly remarkable.

Having a 56" HD TV also helps :P

So far my favorite scene is probally the Snow Leopard hunting mountain antelopes.  The power, grace, and beauty displayed by the leopard hunting prey along sharp jagged rock and steep slopes  is nothing short of amazing.

The show on the Discovery Channel? I've watched a bit of it. They slowed down the framerate of a Great White practically inhaling a seal.  Crazy.Â
