Maybe explain what each letter of GCE stands for so that more people will know what it is.

I didn't. Got a B for writing about how being fat isn't a serious issue because they're just lazy poops.

Past papers, specifications, marking schemes, etc:

For the OCR examining board:

And for AQA:

I'm taking the edexcel exam. I guess I should do all of the past papers, even the ones by different exam boards?

Nothing you can do really, it's just pot luck. You might get questions you can do easily, or you might get something hard, if all else fails, just try to bullsh*t your way through it. :P

No - they may have a different syllabus

Go here for Edexcel specifications, past papers, marking schemes, assessment materials and other stuff:

http://www.edexcel.com/quals/gce/gce08/gen-stud/Pages/default.aspx

Perhaps General studies ought to have a module in finding information!

LOL studying for general studies. It's a easy subject, most don't revise for it and come out with B. After I was told it wasn't a credited subject at uni, I completely stopped caring about the subject and still came out with a B. Really it's a basic essay writing subject.
