If I go to a US post office, all I have to do is give like $45 cash to them and they will give me a money order slip and they will send the money order to the desired person right? Please help, first time using money order.

im not completely sure how the post office is. but i work at a grocery store that sells them. pretty much your right. you give them the desired amount plus a fee charged for the service. but you probably have to pay for the stamp and envolope to mail it. im not completely sure how the mailing works but i know there will be a fee so bring a little more than 45 dollars. the fee should be under a dollar though

well, i buy my money orders at the corner post office. I usually take a little more than the actual amount because of a service fee or something. I take an envelope and when I buy the money order i fill it in and I just buy a stamp and send it right then and there. it's that simple. :)
