President Obama most disrespected President ever??!!

This topic came up today in conversation at work today and needless to say it got kinda heated among co workers. Anyway , we all were talking and someone pointed out that they thought President Obama is easily one of if not the most disrespected president of the United States in many years. I honestly agree with that statement.

Regardless on whether you agree with his policies or not, you have to admit the guy is disrespected at every turn.

From conservatives and tea party members and supporters using racial slurs and stereotypes about him and his family. Ever since he got in office.

People like Trump arguing about his citizenship.

Some media outlets not even having the decency to called him by is proper title " President Obama". As most just say Obama.

Some dude getting up and calling him a liar at a press conference.

People like Rush Limbough saying some really ignorant and racist things but about the president but still is on live radio.

Any news article or Facebook post about anything he does is filled with ignorant racist comments.

Even when he try's to do right, conservatives reject it. Doing anything in their power to make him look bad.

A news anchor on fox or cnn calling him mentally slow but they actually calked him the R word we can't post here.

And the list goes on. Sure, Bush was made fun of but he still got respect for the most part. All he had was people and media calling him stupid or dumb. President Obama has to deal with racism on top of all the other things presidents get flack for. I honestly don't know how he stays sane with all the BS he has take deal with.

What do you all think? Agree that President Obama is disrespected a lot or disagree??

Respect is earned.

And he hasn't earned any.

But you should show decency to everyone unless they give you reason not to.

Obama has given us all plenty of reasons to show him zero respect.

Bush was disrespected as much (probably more) than Obama; however they are not in the running for most disrespected president, back in the very early days of the US it got pretty ugly, (IIRC The 1876 election was ugly as were the ones with Jackson)

Oh absolutely he's the most disrespected President in the past 50 years.

I've never seen so much vitriol towards a President before, and even when he was a candidate it was bad.

I know a lot of people who hated Bush Jr., but it was always a sort of joking kind of hatred.

Obama is a whole other level. Between the birth certificate nonsense, and that mess with his pastor friend or whatever...

Some of the hatred is just simple racism, but I just can't imagine why people dislike him so much.

To start, his blatant disrespect for the privacy of Americans, and indeed everyone. Then we have his blatant disrespect for human life as evidenced by his drone assassinations.

Actually I think given his Nobel Peace Prize and how hero-worship of him is still ongoing, one could argue that he's actually given huge amounts of undeserved respect.

Compared to what Bush went through for 8 years it's not even close.

What people fail to point hour is that all that spending on wars and other dumb decisions Bush made carried over into President Obama's terms. Frankly, not all this is his fault and if you voted for Bush then you should practically blame yourself for the state of the U.S. I don't agree with everything President Obama has done but I find it admirable on what he has done despite the massive disrespect, racism, and resistance from the tea party even when he TRYS to do something.,

And not only did Obama not undo those policies he actually built on them.

I think its not strictly about Obama, after all G.W Bush was no better, he even got a shoe thrown at him. Rather, its more of a phenomenon to be observed in the entire political system of the U.S. People seem to have lost respect for it and everything/everyone associated with it.

The fact that you even brought up something this petty is ridiculous. Not just because Obama is, in fact, a liar, but because Bush actually had stuff thrown at him during a conference.

He's been fighting an uphill battle since being elected to office, from the birthers to Republicans saying he's the most socialist, communist, Maoist, Stalinist, Leninist, Marxist, Atheistic, Muslim president ever. That he has this secret liberal gay agenda. That he's going to mandate sex change operations and force the compulsory education system to make kids gay. That his army of criminal blacks and latino illegal immigrants were forming a brown shirt army to take peoples guns away and stick them in FEMA death camps so the UN could invade. That he was in secretly in cahoots with radical Muslim terrorists organizations to overthrow the United States. That everything in his playbook he took from Hitler. That he hates America. That he doesn't act like an American. That he's trampling the Constitution. That pretty much sums up the language of his first year in office.

And to be honest he did nothing to earn any of this. This is the reaction of the Republicans who felt ashamed after Bush so to save face they gotta make the next guy sound worse, but instead of doing it as Republicans they made this libertarian Tea Party offshoot as a proxy.

If he's so great, what good has he done? Because I can't think of a single thing.

Anytime something goes wrong in the the presidency, his staff says he wasn't aware. He just isn't president material.
