tl;dr Some folks are fighting a law in Arizona voted on by a public referendum that set up a non-partisan commission designed to draw fair districts and eliminate gerrymandering on grounds that it is unconstitutional. The supreme court accepted the case for their coming session.

imo aside from the influence of $$ from lobbyists, nothing has fucked up our representative process more than redistricting...

we need an amendment or something that states something like "aside from natural boundaries, congressional districts shall be quadrilateral in shape"

seriously.. what the **** is this?
