As some of you know I am an activist against delivery fees and specially tipping. But okay I will pay the company's delivery fee, just that.. okay. Well the guy pulls up and then starts doing this face while looking at the box "9.. 9.54 ... This must be a mistake, we do not deliver if the sum amount is less than $10." I roll my eyes as he starts to say this. Then he starts to shake his head like he isn't gonna give me my pizza. I politely ask him "give me pizza, sir". He starts reaching for his phone like he is gonna call Dominos to have my pizza revoked or something. I reach inside the car and grab the box firmly and start pulling it my way. I tell him give the goddamn box I am hungry as **** stop this now.

He starts a tug of war with the box and I finally managed to take it away from him. He drops the phone and says something like "hell nah dawg", pushes the door wide open. I start to run away ( I dropped the $10 on the floor), he comes at me and I have no other choise but to pull out the pepper spray I use to walk my dog every day. I spray him violently, he starts like crumbling down and tell me "you will regret this". Hops on the car and pretty much storms off while flipping the sky lol because he couldn't see.

I am still agitated. All for a goddamn pizza. I felt kind of bad but **** I'm hungry and you're gonna be a jackass like that man.

You acting like a diva... rolling your eyes.......I hope you will get sued by Domino
#14 Posted by redstorm72 (4573 posts) -

So let me get this straight. You tried to take a pizza that you hadn't payed for yet (ie. theft) from a deliveryman while he was trying to call work to figure your ourder out. Then, when he tries to take it back, you peper spray him. Then you decide to brag about your story on OT. Is that right? Because if it is, you sound like a dick.

"activist against tipping and delivery fees"

You are a parasite upon delivery drivers and upon other customers who tip. You DO realize that most drivers have to use their own cars right? as in, they have to pay for gas and maintenance on their cars. Nobody would deliver pizza if customers didn't tip, unless the store pays us at least 13$ an hour, in which cases prices would have to go way up.

Stopped reading here. You're an idiot, even if this story is most likely false.

so basically you tried to rob the pizza guy of the pizza and pepper sprayed the guy when he resisted...

an unbelievable story, I just can't fathom how someone can pepper spray someone else over a pizza pie.
#24 Posted by jeremiah06 (7169 posts) -
I agree with the action taken... If you're already at my freaking house I'm getting my pizza... I had an issue where the dominos guy wouldn't get out the car... He parked in the end of the drive way bunked the horn then drove off... All while I'm standing in the door... This was after three trips out to my house where the first two tines he pulled into neighbors houses... the unacceptable thing is the guy called my house from his cell and I told him it was the right house...

Thats not nearly as bad as this one story I heard. Pizza guy got prank called to a home for a massive delivery, gave a fit to the guy who answered. Guy said he wasn't paying. Pizza guy says it was his number who called (prankster used prankdialer.com or some app I guess) and he needed to pay because the number, address and name all matched up. Guy gets into it with the pizza guy. Long story short the pizza guy got his ass stabbed. Fail right?

I had the money in hand and reached out to him with it. They have some kind of inner anger because of life or something that they shouldn't bring to the workplace or take out on customers. They want to get funny, they get pepper sprayed.

The pizza was very good though. If the guy shows up again for revenge I'll release my pitbulls on him.

You know what's up. Here I am, haven't eaten all day waiting for a pizza I will pay for and once the guy gets here he starts acting like he is not gonna give me the pizza.

Are you serious? Zero tolerance for delivery guys.

#34 Posted by Socialist696 (572 posts) -
If you had the money for the service rendered, him turning you down puts him in the wrong immediately whether they deliver for less than 10 or not.

Try to play with a lion's food while he's hungry. He'll shred you to pieces. Even my little chihuahua aims for the throat when I touch her food plate.

I don't understand the story. If they only deliver from $ 10 onwards, wouldn't they, like, not send a guy to your house for 9.50 in the first place? And if he's already there and you're willing to pay why would he give a f*ck about that policy?

Possession of any aerosol pepper sprays or maces is illegal for civilians unless one carries a hunting license. Unless you are taking about the pizza.

They have done the same thing twice. Here's the story:

There's a deal from Dominos where the medium cheese pizza only costs $5.99 BUT you can't order it for delivery since it's under the $10 cap. It would cost you the regular price which is above $10. HOWEVER, if you order the $5 pizza PLUS some breadsticks it sums up to about $9 something which is kind of like a gray zone apparently for them. The lady over the phone told me it was $10 total but the delivery clown said it was $9.50 or whatever. It has happened twice already. That's why the pepper spray got pulled out.

This question needs to be answered.

I literally have a pepper spray attached to the end of my dog's leach so I technically walk him with it. It is a special hand fit disguised kind of pepper spray.

Yes. I consulted a nutritionist a few days ago and the problem has been taken care of.

Sounds extremely petty of the delivery guy then. Missed his calling; should've been a cop.

next time you order dominoes it's coming with extra toppings....

I agree, delevery guys are a**holes.

They do the same thing to me (not sure if your story is true but doesn't matter). It's not that i'm lazy to get my own pizza, but most of the times if I let delever one, then al lthe shops are already closed.
